Turtle
A nickname given to a group of traders that were trained by successful commodity traders Richard Dennis and Bill Eckhardt to see if trading successfully was a genetic trait or could be trained and learnt.
The experiment was successful. Some of the traders chosen did not have highly educated backgrounds yet were able to trade successfully. Some critics attribute this to a market environment that was conducive to trend trading, and therefore led to large profits.
