Trader

A trader is usually a person who does short term buying and selling in the financial market, often attempting to profit off price fluctuations.  Investors tend to focus on the long term while traders tend to focus on the short term though some traders may hold positions for a year or more.

One of the problems traders face is commissions. Due to frequent trading, traders can rack up large commissions which may eat up their returns. It should be noted, that trading, like all other skills is difficult and takes hard work.
