Quarter on Quarter
A comparison which measures the change of a financial metric of a company over a quarter. Suppose company A earned $1 per share in Q1 (first fiscal quarter) and $1.1 per share in Q2. Excluding all nonoperating, one-time accounting charges, this would imply a quarter on quarter growth of 10%.
