Quant Fund
A type of fund that attempts to making investment decisions using mathematical models. Proponents of such a method claim superiority to other methods due to computers being able to crunch numbers more quickly and are devoid of emotion. However, whether or not a certain model can make money in the long run is not totally certain. There’s a buyer for every seller so not every model can be making money.
