Municipal Bond Fund
A bond fund that mostly invests in bonds issued by states, cities, or counties. They are generally considered to be backed by the power of the issuers to tax its residents. They are usually exempt from federal and state tax, which make them highly attractive to investors.
A county or city can file for bankruptcy though.
