A trader or fund manager that invests in high-risk securities in order to attempt to gain high returns.

The risks of such behaviour may not be evident in a bull market where prices of all securities head upwards. But in case of a bear market, they could quickly get decimated. One can check the holdings of such managers or traders to find out whether or not they are gunslingers.
