Fund Company

Fund companies are companies that run mutual funds and/or provide investment advice services. They may be privately owned or publicly owned.

Peter Lynch used to say that even though he was in the fund managing business, he failed to see that fund companies were great investments due to investors pouring their money into investment funds. Some fund companies would’ve been great investments looking from historical records.
