Forward
Forwards, like futures, are both contracts to deliver an asset on a future date at a prearranged price, but there are some notable differences. Forwards are traded over-the-counter and can be unique, while futures are traded on exchanges and are standardized. Futures are margined while forwards are not.
Forwards are mostly used by companies.
