Fade
Fade, also known as “fading the market”, is a contrarian investment strategy that attempts to trade against the predominant trend. This is usually a dangerous strategy, as Keynes said, “the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.”
However, fading strategies can be successful. Sometimes market trends can get irrational and fading them successfully can be lucrative.
