Debt Fund

A fund, such as a bond fund or a bond ETF, which mainly invests in debt instruments such as bonds or money market instruments. Its investments may vary from those of high credit ratings to issues of lesser creditworthiness. It may also vary from those with long maturities to those with shorter maturities.
