Dead Money
A term referring to investment in a stock that has little hope of appreciation or return.
Many highflying stocks with poor fundamentals(such as low revenues and no profits) are popular in a raging bull market but turn into dead money once the euphoria or fervor is past.
Investors should carefully rewiew their portfolio and consider selling off stocks that may potentially turn into dead money.
