Cluster Analysis
An investment strategy which groups securities that have low correlations in price movement with each other into different groups. Between each group, there is little theoretical correlation, and investing in these different groups may offer adequate diversification theoretically.
However, if a market is generally overvalued, a correction or bear market may all see groups falling.
