Choppy Market
A market is trendless or directionless, in other words, usually a market that bounces around in a range with an upper and lower boundary(though this may not always be the case). The moves in the market indices can be large or small, but the term is usually used to described the performance of a broad market index over an extended period of time.
A choppy market may be difficult for traders who attempt to trade on trends. However, a trader who buys at support and sells at resistance levels may find a choppy market presents good opportunities.
