Channel

Channels are technical patterns, in which the stock price moves within a range. A stock price would make lows and highs and by connecting the lows and highs, a channel can be seen. There are many types of channels including ascending, descending etc. They can be horizontal or sideways. Some traders view the breakout/breakdown of a channel as a signal to buy/sell.
