Centralized Market
A centralized market is a market structure where all orders are routed to one exchange and executed there. The prices quoted on the exchange are the only price at which investors can buy or sell the asset.
The New York Stock Exchange is an example of a centralized market, whereas the foreign exchange market is an example of a decentralized market, as there are competing dealers with no uniform exchange.
