Carbon Trade
Carbon trade is an idea in the Kyoto Protocol in which a country which has used up its greenhouse gas capacity can buy emission rights from another country that has a surplus. The idea works in theory, because energy efficiency is a lot lower in developing countries and it would be cheaper to reduce greenhouse gas emissions there.
