Call Warrant
An warrant issued by a company that grants the holder the right(but not the obligation) to buy a certain of shares of the stock at a predetermined price. This is similar to a call option, but warrants are usually have a longer lifetime and are issued by companies trying to raise capital.
A notable example is Chrysler issuing warrants as part of the financing deal with the federal government.
