Bull Market

Bull markets refer to a type of asset class whose components are experiencing a general rise in price. Bull markets can occur in stocks, bonds, commodities and etc.

Bull markets are usually characterized by optimism, strong interest in the stock market from individual investorsĀ  and hope that prices will continue to rise. It is useful to keep in mind that all bull markets have come to an end and that it is difficult to tell when the tide is about to turn.

Bull markets are generally longer in duration than bear markets. It is noted that “the bull comes up the stairs and the bear jumps out the window”.
