All Weather Fund
All weather funds are classified as mutual funds with a more conservative outlook that can perform fairly well regardless of the overall direction of the stock market. Most funds of this type are well diversified to lower risk and alongside diversification participate in hedging as well.
There is no set mutual fund classification that is considered all weather but a common way to find such a fund type is by looking for funds that have a balanced mix of stocks and bonds.
