All-Ordinaries Stock Index
The major Australian stock index(similar to the S&P 500 for US equities), that is composed of over 300 of the most actively traded stocks on the Australian Stock Exchange. Similar to the S&P 500, it is market cap weighted and adjusted monthly to ensure stocks in the index are adequately liquid.
