Acquisition Indigestion
Acquisition indigestion is a situation where an acquisition or merger in which the companies involved have trouble integrating with one another. Acquisition indigestion may also describe a situation in which the purchasing company has difficulty profiting from a takeover. This usually occurs when the acquisition is not well thought out and is done in order to increase the size of the company with less regard for its profitability.
