Acquired Fund Fees and Expenses – AFFE
Within every fund of fund’s prospectus they must disclose the operating expenses of underlying funds which can be found under the section “Fees and Expenses.” Essentially this new exposure is named AFFE and serves as an easier way for investors to determine underlying fees. The requirement of AFFE disclosure has been in act since the beginning of the 2007 calender year and is applied across all mutual funds.
