130-30 Strategy
A strategy which attempts to optimize returns by shorting stocks(usually the underperforming ones or those with poor fundamentals ) worth 30% of the total portfolio’s size and reinvesting the cash from shorts in other long positions(usually stocks that are perceived as better). It is often practised on a benchmark index such as the S&P 500.
