Start by reading the intro articles, explore fundamental and technical analysis and from there figure out a direction of which you want to pursue based on what you enjoy more. twisted

Dear Stock Trading To Go:

I would like to know more about the term “delisted,” please. If a stock is delisted from an exchange, does that mean it has gone bankrupt, is merely on the verge of going bankrupt, or something else?

Thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely,

Jan Cleri

Most likely on the verge of going bankrupt or in a severe downtrend. To be de-listed the stock has to have a trade with a market cap under $30 million and/or trade under $1 for x period of time. Once de-listed from a major exchange the stock is then traded on pink sheets.
