pubo (pubco corporation)

Hi all,

My father recently passed away, as we were going through his things we found a few stock certificates. One of the stocks was pubco corporation which is/was traded on the NASDAQ. When I quote it on the NASDAQ website it shows a price of $19 but has no history or bid values. I'm not sure if it is a publicly traded company anymore or if it is even in business anymore. If someone could shed some light on the subject I'd appreciate it. Thank you

Looks like it is still traded as a pink sheet,

PUBO.PK: Summary for PUBCO CP NEW - Yahoo! Finance
Pubco Corporation - Google Finance

More info: Pubco Corporation -- Company History

Those shares still might be worth something, good luck!

newbie question

I see the price is $19 does that mean that I can sell them for $19/share? How would I go about selling them if its possible? The thing that is confusing to me is that the last data on anyones charts is from Oct. 08. I'm not sure why it still has a value other than zero. Here is another Newbie question; what is a pink sheet? Thank you for the reply.

A pink sheet just means what exchange it is traded on. Bottom line it means it is a smaller company than what it was previously when traded on a large exchange, Pink Sheets.

As far as selling you need to speak with a broker, just go to any local broker office in your area, bring your shares certificate, tell them the story, and ask what to do. They should be able to help, good luck and let us know how it turns out!
