You are probably best off googling it and seeing what comes up. This is a very old stock and will be tough to find info. Good luck though!

thanks for the reply..I have tried to search google, the only thing I have been able to find out is the great western oil association of fort worth texas was established in 1918 and liquidated in 1920 and was originally associated with both atlantic and standard oil..
.I do not know what happened to the shares since then...I know nothing about shares and what happens when liquidation occurs...The share would still have value after a liquidation, would it not???
Are there any old share experts that could give me any additional info or referrals????
Thanks again for the reply and I would appreciate any further advice re; the matter of the old oil association shares

If the shares were liquidated then they may have been deemed worthless, especially if the company went bankrupt. Investopedia explains liquidation as, "1. When a business or firm is terminated or bankrupt, its assets are sold and the proceeds pay creditors. Any leftovers are distributed to shareholders."

So with that said it depends on how the liquidation went through but Id assume the shares are more than likely worthless.
