how much do you trust anylst?

just wondering what you all think about anylst ..specificly the ones etrade uses.

i personally think that even if they could pick the best stocks before they blow up they wouldnt ....

and most of the stocks that are picked have already done there run.

The only good information is the information u really have to dig for yourself.

Agreed. I rarely take analyst recommendations into consideration. During the tech bust in early 2000 there were hundreds of analysts calling stocks buys the whole way down. A bunch of Bologna if you ask me.

You should only "trust" one analyst....yourself. You can still read what other analyst write, just don't trust it. About the only thing I trust anymore is pivot, support and resistance numbers.

Analys rating/recommandation are merely an observation of a stock past performance.
--> Useless.

During the Tech bubble they were obvious frauds (I prefer to call it an analyst fraud bubble). That still happen to a lesser extent.

I love that "analyst fraud bubble".....don't think we are going to hear it on CNBC anytime soon though.
