Well, sorry to say mate?

The common stock investor is the one that always gets screwed in the end. In the history of the stock market, I can't think of one incident where the common stock holders received ANY of the money from liquidation of assets from a bankcruptcy. It's the main risk of the game.

It's precisely why I restrict myself to investing with stocks that pay dividends. It still happens. But it's much less likely, and there are ways to protect yourself.

Oh, and just wanted to welcome you to StockTradingToGo! I hope you enjoy it here, there are many knowledgeable folks. We may disagree on specifics, but everyone here is always looking to help.

Sorry for your loss.
Apparently they didn't prosper. They made a reorganisation which forced them to put all the assets into another entity while the former entity isn't worth anything anymore.

I am sorry for your loss but why didn’t you have come out from this company as you know it’s not doing well, they don’t have enough liquidity, losing money and couldn’t prosper in their business according to its fundamental?
That’s why we should buy a stock depend on its strong fundamental (current). What do you think?

I don’t think it was a strong company to buy share.
Why a company filling for Bankruptcy because it doesn’t have enough liquidity, obviously frequently making loss, weak management, day by day worsening in their all kind of business, job cuts and store closing as well as lot of weakness made a company to filling for Bankruptcy. So this kind of company always deserve SELL not BUY. What do you think?
