Cash liquidity tools for stock owners

I'd like to find out more information about turning my old stocks into cash. A good friend of mine told me about stocklending.com and that I can turn my old stock into cash without selling my shares. Does anyone know how this works?

I have never heard of this, and I am skeptical! Why not just sell your shares and walk away? Don't want to pay capital gains tax or what?

I second Stocktrading 101's opinion. Beware of scam especially in the internet world.

Hmmm...these guys are right - this could be something that really only benefits the company selling the service. I'm not familiar with the site but it might have something to do with a covered call option strategy where you actually bear the risk of losing the stock while the site gets a cut plus takes on no risk.
