Bond Volume?

Hi,

1. Daily Bond Volume for the Amex and NYSE exchanges. Does this data serve any use at all to keep track of? If so, what?

Does the original poster mean Bond volume itself, or the futures contracts on Bonds? I'm familiar with the Bond futures arena, but as far as I know, that's in Chicago ...
