I"m new to the market and trying to pick a few things up from Stock Investing for Dummies. I've only be doing this for about a month and feel I got in at the wrong time. I own mcd, ba, grmn and adpi. I was sticking around for the long haul, however after seeing the market spec. that it will fall next week would I be wise to sell or just ride it out. I realize this is my decision. Just looking for some pro's and con's. Thanks in advance
I really like McDonalds and I really like Boeing. To hold means that you have conviction in the stocks you own. It seems like your doubt maybe means that you should switch into stocks that you like more. Read the financial statements and make your decision. Remember, only you can make the decision on whether to buy or sell. I don't know much about Garmin or Adelphi and I'd research them before making a decision.
You are the only one that can make this deccision if you feel bad having theme, just sell theme if you think they will make allot of money keep theme...
