Bankruptcy

How does Chapter 11 bankruptcy effect the common shareholder? I have stock in Six Flags and Eddie Bauer, both are in Chapter 11. Will these become worthless?

Technically yes unfortunately when a company goes bankrupt the stock becomes worthless as the company is worthless.
