where to put 200 dollars for a week

Hello i am new to this, I just created an account with schwab and e trade and will be putting about 200 dollars in one of them by tommorow.

My dad is very good at investing but only in the real estate, so I cant go to him for help.

I want to buy at the beggining of the week and sell at the end of the week, or whenever the prices go up.

what is a good way to start doing this?

I know its not the smartest type of investment but even if I lost the whole 200, its only 200 dollars and I'm trying to learn.

also Im def not looking for a low interest no risk type of deal because that would be pointless with only 200 dollars...

thanks for your time

sorry if i sound like a complete idiot.

In my public career as a trader, I have to say that this is the question that I probably receive more than any other of the many questions I receive.

How do I get started?

I think the best thing to remember, is that you start with education. Educating yourself. But that leads to the next question of ... ok, well, how do I get started educating myself regarding the markets?

I made this playlist some time ago to help people out of what to start learning first, how to approach trading investing, etc, based on my experience for the last 13 years. What to avoid. What to learn first, and what NOT to learn first.

In addition, you'll find a lot of good information here at StockTradingToGo, for example, on the home page, you'll find a bunch of good information under the 'education' tabs, that's been organized well.

#1 Rule - Always avoid anyone that tells you they have some sure fire "system" and love to hype how great this "system" is.
