Kings Stock Index

I'm posting this because I decided to make my own index. These are stocks that I personally have looked into and wanted to show you guys my insight on them. If I can keep it up, I was hoping that this could get stickied. If this is against posting rules, by all means delete it, but I think I am in the guidelines. Next are ten stocks. Some large some small. I tried to keep them well rounded as to not skew the index. I will also post reasons why I chose the stocks and will try to update everyday to keep members who take an interest informed. Any questions, please PM me. Yes, I may have different views as to the ones I pick, if you do not like them tough luck.

First off...

CSUN. China sunergy is a renewable energy equipment sector stock. Lagging behind others such as trina solar or first solar, this stock has low market ground. However, this stock has posted good earnings and lower debt amounts greatly. They are a new company trying to add to their own niche.

RCMT. A low priced stock. RCM technologies is in the computer services department. This company has aggressive management which buys out other computer services stocks. Over the last decade, it has hit the 52 week low and bounced back up. We always have a change in technology so we will need someone there to fix the problems. The finances have steadily gone up over the past few years. I see this stock as maintaining a steady price and going up slightly. As a low stock, this could be bought in bulk and held for that minor gain.

KG. Kings Pharmaceuticals. Not a very wide known stock but big in the medicine world. Pfizer as a rival company they are both solid in the market. This company is trying to buy out a certain company (Alpharma) which could boost this stock price. Steady stock through the past few months. This stock is a good long term investment in my opinion. It tries to buy other rivals which improves market share. Good solid ground stock.

BAC. Bank of America. The largest bank in America. Why not. The recent aquisition of Merryl Lynch has boosted this stock already. The outlook for this stock is high. I expect it to go up to 80 by next year. My opinion of course but great management and aggressive control makes this a large market holder. A great investment in my opinion. Not going anywhere anytime soon.

JPM. JP Morgan Chase . Same opinion as BAC but this company has bought out a share of WAMU. Good management and large market share. Has the money to buyout competition if needed.

MO. Altria group. I personally do not like cigarettes. I am a low percentage who doesn't smoke. Actually only 46.5 million smoke but as more nad more people are born. That number increase however minute. The company makes low cost cigarettes. A good dividend payout as well and the price has been pretty current. THe 52 week high and low are only a few dollars apart.

PFE. Pfizer. The pharmaceutical giant. Owns a large ground of market share. A great dividend payout and decent stock price. Only thing that can really hurt this stock is social medicine and generics. This stock could benefit by taking over competition. Also on the DOW, this stock is not going anywhere anytime soon. IMO atleast. Decent for longterm investing.

FRP. Fairpoint Telecommunications. Working with Verizon Wireless. This stock pays decent dividends and is cheap. It can be volatile as it has to deal with verizon news and its own. Mobile phones are becoming more popular, this stock can really benefit. Another long term investment. Good price, and finances are good. Could be better but hopefully it benefits from VZ.

DT. Deutsche Telekom. The fourth largest cellphone provider. After the recent takeover of Suncom, this company owns T-mobile, suncom, and cingular. Trying to make their influence greater in the southeast, I believe that this takeover benefited them. They can reach more people and has google technology in their stores. Could be the next apple iphone fad. Boosting DT profit.

CC. Circuit City. Why add this stock. This has to be my worst call ever. I know this company is going out of business but I was hoping for a pop in price for monday. I popped wrong. This stock would have been good to short. Anyway, I have been watching this stock for a while. I added this because of a new ceo. The ceo, I hope, can change things wrong with the company that has not been working. CC already undercuts prices and are working to improve sales. If the company can find a buyer this stockcan shoot up through the roof. At least a few dollars anyways.

Interesting. I hope three don't fall off it in a year. JPM is your best pick for the index. I think there are a lot of speculative names on it which can mean a high return or a huge loss.

I also like PFE to some extent and MO as well.

It's a risky list though.

Yea I chose big name stocks to keep it conservative such as bac and jpm. Pfe and mo are sort of in the middle as well as frp and dt. Kg as a potential to move. Pcmt and csun for those that want a good mover in numbers and a way to make a decent return. CC is their because I have watched it over time. It till be removed if it closes or merges. If it merges it will be replaced by that company. Also wanted a decent dividend payout in the index. Frp, pfe, and mo all offer a yield over 6 by the way.

Wow a loss of 16% today. CC posted worst quarter sales. Opposite of what was predicted and everyone else tanked on the bailout news.

Current 313.0575

To the people who i suggested about cc. Sorry, my worst call ever. I hoped some people short sold the stock. A profit could have been made. All the hype about them posting fairer results baited me and was opposite. Secong time burned on this one.

Up, today, declines were cc and rnmt but otherwise everything else gained. JPM up decent and bac almost at friday point. Mid level stocks are all off around .50 to a dollar but tomorrow is another day. CC tanked badly, could be a quick player at this point but it looks like it is going nowhere. RCMT tanked but due to the selloff yesterday. Should regain composure and may be a good play for a quarter gain or so.

Current: 327.29
Change: +4.4% modest really, mostly due to jpm and pfe. Mo helped as well as dt. Again pretty much all except my two low ones.
