Is it time for EMC?

Both Cramer, Adami and the Najarian Bros are bullish on EMC. I got stopped out a while ago at 19 on the last sell off. Anybody else thinks we move to the 20's again? Side note anyone familiar with STEC? I was shopping for a new laptop on dell.com. Expensive option is a "solid state hardrive". Could be a new big thing in hardware and I think STEC is the company that manufactures it. Sorry for this uniformed post, doing research tonight.

EMC is an excellent stock. Data storage has many years of growth ahead.
Its valuation is reasonable for a tech stock.
My rating: "Buy"

Fast Moneys Pete Najarian Final Call was EMC. He explained that VMW will be coming off of lock-up soon allowing EMC to start selling. Cramer described the same thing yesterday. After the morning sell-off because of INTC, we may get a midday rally. May start to build a position in EMC. I put STEC on my watchlist, still researching but they are related to EMC too.

Do you really want to get into EMC now? Ouch, I liked the fact that you were stopped out at $19, but then to buy it again now when its actually under its 200-day ma? That could be even worse than selling out at $19. It could even be worse once EMC sells its stake in VMW, but let me know how it goes 6 months from now.

I agree. EMC is an excellent long term stock, what is called a "quality stock". Still, short and mid-short term view is bearish since the whole market is bearish and the economy poised to slow down.

Ok, to initialize a position. Wait to add.
