Even weirder is that it's been here before. Heck, even lower. I remember once they paid out something like $2.25 when it was trading at $32.00.
Tis the wild ride of FRO. Like coming around Drake's Passage. If any are really wanting to jump in, I've been recommending they keep their intial dip in FRO waters very small - around 1 1/2% of any available cash.

Overall market at the moment has me a bit concerned due to the light, and descending volume during these rallies.
However, I found this bit of news Interesting:
OSLO, March 25 (Reuters) - Shares in oil tanker group Frontline (FRO.OL: Quote, Profile, Research) leapt as much as 10.5 percent on Tuesday after the Norwegian company and its main owner took a 5.2 percent stake in Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG.N: Quote, Profile, Research), sparking takeover speculation.
. . .
Chief Executive Bjoern Sjaastad declined to comment on Frontline's plans for its OSG holdings and stuck to the wording of Frontline's March 20 statement that the group was interested in talks with OSG to create shareholder value.
. . .
"It's always interesting to consolidate the tanker sector," Sjaastad told Reuters.
FRO only represents about 4% of my holdings, but this stock has been nothing but a cash cow.

I sold my FRO shares today morning at $50.26. I took my profit as part of what is supposed to be a method and because I needed to restore my cash ratio which was only 10% (now 20%).
Too bad I missed the $2 rally of today, but we can't get everything in our life.
FRO is still an excellent long term investment.

Never scoff at profits. A profit is a profit.
Yeah, I was in airports yesterday (I'm on vacation at the moment in Mexico), but I noticed the jump up when I'd check in with the markets in Atlanta. Wow. The cash train keeps on rolling.

FRO was above $54 today... No I don't regret, no noooo...
As Soros said, you either have to be very cautious or nimble. This time I'v been cautious.
Also sold Precision Drillings (PDS) also for a nice profit.
Now I'll let the stock market fall a little bit and then buy again.
But I doubt I will repurchase FRO at a lower price...

Heck, I wish I jumped in when FRO was around $40 a pop. It surprised me when I saw $50+. That's pretty dang amazing. Fred, are you going to reinvest in FRO when it goes back down to around $40, or what? What would your strategy be?

Yes, I might reinvest if it falls back to $40 but I don't think it's realistic now that the stock trade above $62. FRO just start a steady climb when I sold (typical of me).
Now that the market decided that FRO is to grow, it would take a realy very bad news to bring down to $40. And I won't buy on very bad news.
I think at this stage, I'd rather seek another bragain chips.
