GCOG - on a breakout. 600+% potential
Current hot topic is Oil and Gas. GCOG (Gulf Coast Oil & Gas) is about to break out. With proven oil reserves but has 1bln of shares outstanding. Stock has moved from 0.0003 to 0.0016 and projected to move into the penny zone.
Huge buying past week and little sign of dumping or dilution. Rumour of positive PR and possible take over from large oil company.
Thoughts?

My question is when don't penny stocks have a 'rumor' and 'possible PR' and 'possible takeovers' occuring. That's the world of penny stocks. A lot of 'could' and very little 'does'. Every penny stock I've ever looked at has "Rumour of positive PR and possible take over"
Heck, Timothy Sykes has made a fantastic amount of money with penny stocks by doing exactly the opposite of the rumor mill, and shorting them when they run up.
My other question has to do with the statement: "is about to break out"
Why? Why do you feel it's about to break out? Especially on a penny stock, where the volume is so easily manipulated by volume that zigs around with as much zeal as James Brown being tailed by the cops.

Another huge run may be due on this stock will oil being such a hot topic. Talk of lease renewal and joint venture with a large partner to tap oil on properties. Do your own DD!!
Here's a quote from the yahoo site
Yahoo! Message Boards - Gulf Coast Oil & Gas Inc - Just spoke with IR
Bill mentioned that he is being informed that the company intends to renew leases on Saratoga. There is lots of activity in the area and they seems to have long term plans there with JV. The reaction to the stock price will probably be determined by the track record of the JV partner and news that will come with PR. It appears to me that Bill is only sharing what he has been told. He did mention that the CEO spoke to him breifly indicating that he would give them information when he has it. He mentioned that the CEO was traveling to meetings (possibly with potential partners). We need to hang in there. Those that have been in this stock for a longer period of time understand that we may be on the brink of something BIG!!!
