Grasslands Entertainment Inc.'s
board of directors has decided to examine strategic alternatives with an objective to maximizing shareholder value.
Given the previously announced resignation of the company's vice-president and board member Bryan Smith, and current market trends in the international media sector, the company has decided, in the best interest of shareholders, to commence a formal process to examine strategic alternatives available to the company to maximize
shareholder value.
A committee of the board of directors, in conjunction with the
management of the company, will consider a full range of possible transactions or restructuring steps available to the company. No decision on any particular alternative has been reached at this time. The board will promptly announce any decision to pursue a particular strategic alternative
