Unhappy American Brokers for Australia
Some brokers don't accept applications from australians such as Ameritrade, I would like to deal directly with American brokers but I'm an Australian Citizen.

Does anyone know of brokers who would deal with Australians?

Have you tried Interactive Brokers or Etrade? I know they are established for international trading. Perhaps give them a shot?

If i may ask why you are prefering for an Australian Broker, any specific reasons or you residing in Australia, thats why?
