In looking at the model portfolio, some positions may have been held for a while. Some may now be Holds rather than Buys. How does a newbie create a portfolio of fresh Buys? Thank you - Tom

Don't trust 'model portfolios'
Do your own DD.
Banks are taking off this week!
That's a good place to have your money right now.
If you want to invest.
Buy and hold banks.
WAY over-sold and undervalued!

But, always diversify
