Falkin III Updates
So far I've had a bumpy ride, to say the least. After making some dumb plays with options (that would have been a winfall had I stuck to my guns) and two failed breakouts I tried to make going against the market foolishly, I took a couple weeks off and then entered positions in GOOG, CVCO, CME, and OXPS. After a few weeks of gains there, I'm finally back in black (cue AC/DC).
I hope that things stay this way, how is everyone else's contest going?

Congrats on making it back in the black man! Did CVCO run up again or what? Google is down a little bit today as well. The market has been pretty quite so far this week I'd say, not too much going on at all. NVDA is up over a point and is hitting new intra-days highs as I write this so that is good. If only AMD could break out now...

With the market's close this week I ended up tacking on a few more percentage points to my portfolio. What a crazy week  . Is anyone else AMD or am I flying solo on that one? I think we have over 90 contestants now in the contest...

Glad you made it alive Mark, I am sure this thread will thrive like in the past. Everything seems to be flowing pretty steadily here along as we are just about half way through the contest. I dunno about you guys but I am getting cozy where I am at in the standings

ahh ha ahh haha, shut up man! jk lol I saw that you have someone getting rather close to you at 141k, its just not me :-( I am hanging in there though. I can't believe the quality of competition that we have this time around. I am at about $111,500 and I am in 12th place, which is awesome. Last time that was a easy 2nd, so that is good. Soon we are going to be having people hit like 200k in three months, that will be some bragging rights. See you all later,

Seriously, once the number of competitors say doubles or triples I am sure we will see even MORE people with larger profits. This could get scary.

You're not flying solo on AMD! Jim Cramer went nuts about AMD today on Mad Money. He's in love with it, and even said it was a better buy than his former sweetheart, INTC.
So the mad man of Wall St. is on your side, Blain!
