Boom babie! Well it is my biggest position as of now and it broke out today so let the good times roll!

Onna side note, Cramer a great man... anyone who reads his book knows exactly what I am talking about. "R E S P E C T, find out what it means to me..." sorry...

(cough) Blain is the man (cough) ...

<-- High Flyer

PS - great comment on the competition Mark, I can't wait to see what happens next contest. I think it is very interesting to note how mediocre people were doing with the market falling, and now how well people are doing with the market rallying!

To the future,

Hey everyone.

Hmm... i havn't even looked at AMD to launch a play with.

I seem to be floating around in the 7-10th place ranks right now .

Is anyone else from the contest on this forum?

The contest is fun, but I'm making more with the contest simulator than I am in real life

Hey, Psykiv, welcome! Yes, many of the people here are in the contest.

MDZ - Mark Zimmer
Stocktrader101 - Blain Reinkensmeyer
Yee Sian - me
spncr2 - Spencer Toth
JeffBox - Jeff
...sorry if i have yet to list all of u, these are just examples

I dunno much about an account in real life, don't have one myslef first. But naturally, you will be trading more aggressively in the contest than you are in real life, so *shrugs shoulder*, i guess that should be the case

Ya, The Portal as we call it (these forums) are designed for the contest contestants. So, adding onto Yeesian's list, every member except for one that I know of is in the contest. You will notice how right below your name it says "1st Falkin contest" which is to let everyone else know how long you have been in the system. We have only had two contests thus far (vice this one being called Falkin III), but our past winners are on here as well. It is pretty cool how we have it set up. You should check out the rest of the site too, there is alot of info on the contest there.

ya I feel ya there, I think that is the case for most of us. Technicals do come in but the biggest reason for it I think is that we are willing to take more risk in a simulator than in real life .

That is actually really good man, you are pretty close to getting in the money. Any top 10 place is pretty respectable considering there are 90 participants.

To the future,

Haha, its seems that there are many of them. btonar, blsh, Mclark337, Pfeiffer101. Really puts up the pressure on me man . I still take my hats off to BLUEBOY, jumpin more than 30% in a day, really scary man, too bad he dropped the next day.

Hmm, being the newb that i was, made many mistakes in this first contest of mine, learnt a lot also. Considering the fact that i have yet to go into options trading, im actually happy with where i am. Don't worry for me, Blain, im back in 2nd position(despite that 2k loss from ICE).

Just a reminder to anyone who was wondering, the top 10% of the participants recieve prize money at the end of the contest. At the start of this one, we had (I believe) 43 people. This means of course that the top 4 will get prize money. In case anyone is wondering how the prize money is divided, visit the contest blog at www.richdad3.blogspot.com, then scroll down 5 posts for the breakdown for this contest. Scroll down 2 more posts and you will see the formula for all future contests. Feel free to send me a personal message if you have any questions.

Good Luck With Everything!

Boom shaka laka bam, please note Mark that you can also find the formula for how the stock prize money is distributed right here on the site! Under "trading contests" go to "official rules" and click on the quick link to "prize money" .

Just wait till your second or third shot at this contest Yeesian, you'll be trading options with your eyes closed.

Regards,
