MVV - midcap
QLD - Nasdaq 100
ROM - Tech
UCC - Consumer Services
UGE - Consumer Goods
UKF - Large cap
UKK - smallcap
UKW - midcap
UPW
USD
UVG
UVT
UVU

Other options
If you think that VTI will decline in price, either buy a put or buy VTI and issue a written call against it. However, a covered call is only appropriate if you anticipate the stock price decline to be brief. The risks of a covered call are similar to that of a naked put.

If you think VTI will rise, you might buy SSO or buy a call option on VTI or sell a naked put on VTI putting the proceeds in a balanced fund or T-Bill so that you have a cash-settlement with the broker for the maximum potential loss. That way, you avoid a margin call.

For retirement accounts, the only options you can have are covered calls, which provide premium income as long as the option isn't exercised.
