I am VERY new to investing, and purchased Agere stock through an online service. Agere has been acquired by LSI, and it is my understanding that LSI is offering 2.16 shares for every one share of Agere.
My online service is showing $0 for the Agere stock value. My question is, did I lose all of my money?
If not, how does an exchange take place? And how do I get my LSI shares?
sometimes these things take a few days to sort out but if it has been moore than 3 days I would contact your broker to see where your shares of LSI are. You do not lose your money but I did not do any research so I do not know for sure about your situation.
