Stock or mutual funds

Hey guys, I’ve been browsing the site for a while, just never seemed to post anything. I read about the CAT stock in your forums and recently bought in at 58.18 after doing some research, I m loving the gains, and this website. I also want to know what is killer move technique to win the stock.

Are you referring to wether to use technical or fundamental analysis as a reason to purchase the stock? (here is a link to the thread on Caterpillar CAT for others reading this post)

I believe Messman's post was fundamental, and Stocktrading101's response was purely technical. Everyone has different strategies for maximizing return short and long term.

Hope that makes sense.

Stock or mutual funds

I have been trading stocks for more than two years. So I am not a rookie in this. The style I trade is swing trading. That is one reason I like Portfolio Crafter's trading style, which is very similar to what I am doing. I think the web site is PortfolioCrafter.com. Best part is consistency of the profits, which never fall below 10%. And in this month, we are already up 34%, which is a real good bonus. Second is the precision of the entry & exit points. A killer move is one wherein you have to kill on the first move. I used this "killer move" technique to devise the quickest way to make a killing with stocks that are getting ready to skyrocket or plummet.

Hi

I think you ought to swap out of CAT and buy DE. But with DE having risen so much, staying in CAT might be advisable.

I think you should buy TXN, NOC, SHLD, and MET to diversify that holding(s). Consider CWTR instead of SHLD; really like the revised financial statements
