The real volatility early in the day shot up the implied volatility in my calls, sold at an even larger premium on a down day. 120% gain

Hypothetical question. If there is a distribution day in the markets and your stock was in the black and stayed solid is that a good sign? Or should you still be cautious?

I 2nd that. Be catious though if it is a more lightly traded stock. Typically smaller companies aren't as influenced by the market.
