My Vision: It originally started as wanting to save up because It was rare that I had money for big purchases ($1,000+) and It always pissed me off. Now it's shifting more towards wanting an early retirement and having money to take advantage of any situations that may arise.

My mentor: No one. Every single last person I personally know thinks that the stock market is evil and is the absolute quickest way to lose all of your money. I remember one day when I was in fifth grade, we had a guest speaker who was a day trader (I'll never forget) and he talked to us 10 year olds about stocks. I think I was the only one who paid attention that day. I wish I would have ignored everyone I knew sooner. I wish I started in the stock market sooner. I've done everything by myself, reading and reading, and LOTS of trial + error. That day trader was right (even though im more buy and hold myself).

I want to do that one day, sounds like it would be fun if you can keep the kids interested.
