was reading The Intelligent Investor today and this question came up in my head and was wondering what you guys think

True or False..... every bull market is follwed by a bear market and every bear market is followed by a bull market

Depends, if there is an extended period of time where hte market is flat, I would say that it is neither. But if you're only looking through the scope of bull or bear marekts, then it's true.


This can only be used in hindsight as well (making is useless) becasue you never know when each type of market is ending.....
