That was back when spam robots had unlimited access to the site. We used to get a ton of spam as some users will recall. Now we limit access and spam and thus the number is lower on average but more quality users.
If you look at traffic StockTradingToGo.com has hit records again already this year. Over 50,000 uniques and over 130,000 pageviews last month!
