Where will your money go?

I would like to take a little hypothetical trip with you and see what kind of evolution we could expect from the world.

Scenario:
Assume that the US markets climb to extreme profitable heights for the next 2 years. Higher than it has ever been in the history of US economics. We are talking Real Estate market, oil/gas markets, raw materials like silver, gold, etc. and the stock market. Now roughly in the 2 year period, obviously many of us stand to make a great deal of money, BUT now the clinch, assume that the market suddenly cannot take the heat any more and the stock market drops out total collapse of the US dollar takes hold.

Where would you put your money? Would it still be in the market while the market is running high? Do you have plans on where to move your money and how soon you will move it? Have you considered placing your money in other tangiables that can be converted to a different currency in the event we do have a total market collapse?

Please put all your positive strokes in here. As this is a hypothetical, I don't really care to hear reasoning on why you don't believe this could happen in America. Just describe a positive solution to how you would handle this situation.

If I saw it coming, I suppose I'd don my tinfoil hat and kevlar vest, then stock up on gasoline, MREs, bottled water, ammo, grenades, and a nice split-level, hardened concrete, subterranean bunker.

But that's just me, the inveterate optimist.

(My son says he would buy Yen and video games.)

I think that I personally would want to move into real estate. I know that you said that it all would be high at the time, but my reasoning would be that with stocks and commodities, everyone has to pay the same basic price. No matter how crazy of a inflated market there was, there would still be good deals available in real estate. After the market lets go, people are still going to need places to live and work. If that were to go bust, then I would probably strap on a backpack, hike out in to the woods, and live in a cave/tree until things came around ;-).

lol, bump to that

I would continue doing what I am doing right now, nothing different here. I put my money into the bandwagon with the most momentum, ride it for a day or two, then jump out, enjoy a night on the town, then catch the next one out of town.

If you think this guy isn't serious, HE IS. Mark is going to be the next Survivorman on the Discovery Channel.

haha mark. I agree with you about real estate though. I think real assets are what I would want to focus on because even if the currency fluctuates greatly, like you said people will always need a place to sleep and a place to work. The prices of real estate relative to the market shouldn't fluctuate that much. In other words, the dollar amount might fluctuate but the buying power associated with the currency shouldn't change that much.

I am actually bringing this up for a reason guys. There are big events taking place in both the markets and the political arenas that are about to bring an evolution to the way we do business in this country. There are tattle tales signs of things to come that will hurt the economy of our country. You may want to take some time and tune into the politics (and believe me I hate politics bad) and tune into what is going on in all the markets not just stocks.

April of this year indicates a threshold in the markets that have never been encountered before. The millionaires such as Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump and Warren Buffet have all made mention of this event coming. This is the first time in history of the US markets that all the market are in a rise at the same time. This indicator is a special indicator that tells the story of a potential hyper-inflation or even a collapse of our economic US Currency as we know it.

So when I ask what you will do? I am curious to see if you are aware of the circumstances and if you have considered dumping all your cash into tangibles like silver, gold, oil, gas, and yes even Real Estate.

See if the money system we use today were to fail during the collapse... then the next form of trade will be done at the end of the barrell of a gun. Neighbors shooting each other for food, gas, other types of supplies that used to carry a money based value to them. Are you prepared? Do you know how to prepare? Do you know what kind of preparations it would take to survive this event?

Suggestions of being prepared:
1. Build up a supply of gasoline for your household and family.
2. Build up a supply of food for household and family.
3. Take your money and dump it into tangibles... silver, gold, oil, gas, diamonds... anything that will maintain a currency value in other countries as well as USA. Yes every penny you have. You can liquidate your tangible as you need to so you can pay bills or have spending change in your pocket, but you should be prepared that you current cash, may not be worth a penny come the next morning. If you are at least prepared in this way, you will have a majority of your earnings in some fluid tangible to get you through a crisis. The items listed above will always be worth something in other countries.
4. Find an alternative solution to the oil crisis that we are facing right now. For example, hybrid cars, or even electric cars like www.myersmotors.com (no affiliation).
5. Begin planting a small crop of vegitables in little planter boxes. My wife just started ours about 2 months ago. Goodie, I should have enough peppers to make my own salsa for a few more years.

Use a good scout motto and be prepared. I would hate to see someone I know suffering after I offered them suggestions on how to be ready.

Good news:
If I am wrong, then there are some millionaires that will be wrong and if you heed the suggestions, you will have a plentiful supply of the above items and won't have to waste money buying them... you can even market them off if you want.

Bad News:
If I am right and the milionaires are right and you do not heed the suggestion, then get out your guns and be ready to fight for your survival.

There is pleny of detailed information on the www.richdad.com site in the RDTV videos. Robert Kiyosaki placed about 3 videos there so far that detail the issues we are facing.

Take the time to watch the events in the news, it will show you how this situation is unfolding... watch the CNBC station for the events being un-covered in the markets... be prepared for the markets to come crashing down.
